Satin is a weaving method that gives an extra glossy surface, with a duller back. The yarn has few binding points in the fabric, compared to a tu-shank. The right side often has many more threads than the back, making the surface shiny. Bed textile in satin seems more cool and gives the good feeling of well-being.
